7. Point coordinates
The coordinates of all points will be shown on the Points tab in the Scenery data window:
The X, Y and Z coordinates of the point which has been selected from the list will be shown in the input box Cartesian coordinates. The origin of the cartesian coordinate systems is the camera position of the location panorama. The Y axis shows vertically upward.
In the input box Spherical coordinates the position of the selected point will be described by the horizontal angle øx, the vertical angle øy and the distance to the camera position of the location panorama.
With Distance to point you can continuously view the distance from the selected point to another one. This is very helpful if certain dimensions are exactly known or need to be kept accurately. Enter the point index of the second point into the input box in order to use this function.
If the option Fixed angle is activated, a point selected in a measuring panorama or 3D view window can only be shifted along a straight line which is defined by its position on the location panorama. If the function Fixed angle is deactivated, the selected point can be freely shifted in any window.
